Texas Visit

This weekend Ed & I head back to our old home for the weekend, Dallas, Texas. We plan to visit an old friend who is having a few medical issues, as well as absorb as much of the "big city" life as we can before we head back home to our small town. We also plan to really celebrate our anniversary this weekend, because there is sooo much to do there in Dallas. Other than that, we look forward to seeing some of our family/friends and having a great time in old Tejas!

Wow! It doesn't seem like two years have come already. May 20th Ed & I celebrate our 2 year Anniversary. Two years of being with my best friend and realizing I can't think of my life with out him. We've had our ups and downs as any couple, but we've had some REALLY good memories so far, that I'll treasure always. We find ourselves looking back through pictures and thinking of our not so distant past of dating. We also eagerly look forward to our future of having kids run the halls of our home. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MY LOVE! (I love you!)

Just to update everyone, Ed & I have moved to McAlester, OK. We are settling in and we love it! Ed likes being back to his other home again. It definately is a change from the hussle and bussle of Dallas, Texas. We have a home here and it's great. We are slowly but surely getting things out of boxes and the house is starting to look lived in. We even planted a few flowers and bulbs to add a bit of color to our white house. Ed is working here, while I enjoy my break from work. I actually started looking for a position here this past Monday, so hopefully I'll hear something soon.
Other than that, today we went to the McAlester Italian Festival. It was great. Tons of crafts and things to taste. A small town event, but definately worth attending. (Even bought more decorations for my Texas themed kitchen.) If I can't be in Texas, I'll at least have one room that reminds me of my old home.
Soon, I'll figure out how to post pictures of everything on here for everyone to see, but for now I'll just have to explain things in great detail.-lol
