Austin-Baby Bump

Ok, I guess I've been hiding out for the past months, since I've been prego. But with January around the corner, I only have a few more months before our little man will be here. So, here's a picture of mommy before he's here.

Ed was nice enough to take this picture of me and my belly. Below you'll find the 3D images of our little boy we had taken Dec. 15th.

This is our adorable son, Austin. We have decided on his first name and will most likely decide on the middle name when he arrives. (Austin is Ed's mom's maiden name, so it's a sentimental name for us.) We are so excited to see him in person, but the 3D images will work for now.

The crib is up..

Today Ed put together the crib and it looks so awesome. It matches the dresser, night table and queen bed that's already in our second bedroom. Time is getting closer for our little guy to get here, so we're getting more and more excited as we get ready the "baby's room."

We are storing some of his clothes and the crib bed set, until we get the mattress and other stuff put together.

We also put out the rug that matches the "little big trucks" crib set we have. More of the decor will go up later, but for now the rug will do.

Family Birthday

Last weekend was my Uncle Bob's 70th Birthday. We all gathered at my Uncle Spikes house to have cake and eat great BBQ. Here are a few pictures from our family fun.

It's a BOY!!!

Yes, we are having a "bouncing baby boy!!" Here are some of the many sonogram pictures of our doctor visit today. It was so awesome to see him move on the monitor and feel him move in my belly. I love all the pictures of our little man, especially the last one!! (1st picture: baby boys foot, 2nd picture: baby boys profile, 3rd picture: Umm...the proof he's a boy.)-lol

Baby Stuff...

We are now collecting baby stuff!! Since the baby is at the halfway mark (20 weeks), everyone is pooling together to shop at Babies R Us, to get us the things we need. We'll officially register there for baby things after we find out the gender of our baby, but this is what we have so far!

Tiffani's Dad got us this diaper bag that is the same pattern as the car seat and stroller. He also got an awesome crib that is to be delivered Monday.

Tiffani's Mom got the matching carseat and stroller set. It's so awesome to imagine a "Little Tiffani or Little Ed" sitting in this carseat and stroller!

We find out Monday the gender of our baby, but we think this pattern of "baby stuff" we have choosen will be safe for our little baby boy or girl.

Flutters

It's confirmed as of last week, I start feeling the babies movements or "flutters" as I call them. They are very sporadic and sometimes I just have to be very still to feel them. But it's for sure the little one letting me know he/she is there. I know pretty soon I'll feel the baby move all the time and won't be able to sleep, but for now I'll just enjoy the proof that I have a little miracle inside me.

Doctors Appointment

Ed & I went to my 17 week appointment with the OB yesterday. (Yes, my little ticker thing for the baby is a bit off.) Ed actually got to see the baby's head and legs this time. Last visit, I was the only one to see the baby's arms and head. So, we know the baby has a head, arms and legs, YYYEEEAAAHH!-lol Unfortunately I don't have a sonogram picture of our little one, so this online image will have to give you an idea of where I am right now. We have a appointment October 18th to find out the gender. We are totally excited!! I'm so happy that the baby is healthy and I'm healthy. Let me know if your vote is for a girl or a boy!

Mother's Intuition

Ok, so I've gotta know from all you mom's out there. Did you have a feeling of what your baby was going to be??? I would love a little girl to dress up in bows and frilly dresses, but honestly... I feel that I'm going to have a boy. Is this too early to feel that I'm having a boy and is there such a thing as Mother's Intuition?!?! Tell me what you think...

Tiffani's Birthday!!

I know I'm a little late, but life's been a little crazy lately... as you can imagine. My birthday was the 4th and I had a great time. I really enjoyed my day!

Ed's mom surprised me with this tasty candy bouquet at work. Luckily, it survived the trip home without totally melting in the heat.

My lovely husband got me a card and roses. He also took me out to dinner for fajitas.
(He also got me nursing bras for future use. There will be no pictures of the bras.)-lol

The lady at work got me this cute little towel deal for the baby. It says "Mommy's Little Star", it's my first item with mommy on it. HOW AWESOME IS THAT!

Yes, we're PREGNANT!!

Ed & I found out we were pregnant June 24th and have been dying to tell our friends and family since then. BUT, we've waited until now to make sure things were good with the baby to tell our parents and spread the news to the world!!

Here's the 8 week picture of our little munchkin. It's so little. (There's two plus signs and about 3 dots in between them, OUR BABY IS RIGHT THERE!)

We told our parents by having a "Parents Dinner" today. We ate "Ed's Famous Meatloaf" with other tasty side dishes. We told our parents the awesome news, by including the sonogram picture in a copy of our most recent family picture taken in April. This is one of our favorite poses. We are so excited as the parents to be!!!

Here are the proud "Grandparents to be." Well, they are already grandparents...but they were totally excited to be grandparents again.

Branson, MO Vacation 2010

Ed & I took our vacation to Branson, MO the weekend of June 25th. We Spent Friday- Sunday there and it was absolutely wonderful. We enjoyed our anniversary celebration there.

First stop when we got there, was food! We ate at Shoney's Buffet.

Then we went shopping at the Branson Landing outside Outlet Mall.

We had a great time looking at all the different shops.

Early Saturday morning, we rode the duck. It's a cool vehicle that tours everyone around Branson. It even goes in the water!

Everyone was given a "Quacker" for the ride.

We were in the water and still on the duck! It was cool to be on the road and then splash into the water.

Quack, Quack!!

Our driver took a break and let a little kid drive.

Our duck driver took us by a huge dam used when areas flood. It was huge!

We stayed in the Grand Oaks Hotel, which was pretty much close to everything.

As we toured Branson, we saw this building for a show they have called Titanic.

We didn't make it inside, but we thought the outside was pretty creative.

Saturday evening, we ate at "Andy Williams Moon River Grill." They had a piano player/singer for atmosphere and great food. He sang "What a Wonderful World" to us. It was absolutely wonderful!!

(We'll have great memories of this place.)

Then off to see "The New Shanghai Circus!" Unfortunately, they didn't let us take pictures during the show... for the safety of the acrobats.

So, we took as many as we wanted while the shows curtains were closed.

With the assistance of the people behind us, we were able to get a picture together at the show.

After the show, Ed & I made a point to get pictures with the acrobats. They are SO talented!

Most of the girls were shorter than me, and could also move into places I could never dream of. We had an awesome time in Branson, MO and plan to go again someday!
