Opening weekend last year in Texas.It’s “Opening Weekend” for deer season here in Oklahoma and guess where my cute hubbie will be this weekend? Can anyone guess?!? If you know Ed, you know he’ll be up before sunrise, dressed from head to toe in camo, hiding out in the woods with riffle in hand, waiting for the slightest sign of a deer. He has deer fever and can’t wait!! Last year, we both went opening weekend in Texas. We both had never gone before and it was fun. I’m excited for him to get a deer this year. I’ve never had deer meat, so it would be sort of neat. The temperature is quite a bit cooler here than in Texas at night and there is an official “burn ban” due to high winds, so he won’t be braving the cold in a tent this year. The warmth of our home has convinced him to stay home and head out reeeeeeaallllyyy early. Wish him luck!! I’ll let you know if we’re having deer for Thanksgiving. -lol

Let me be the 1st to tell Ed happy huntin'! Whatever you do, don't tell Jeremiah!! He is itchin' to go on a road trip somewhere AND itchin' to break out the riffle. If he knew what Ed was up to, this would be his perfect excuse to head north to come see you. Shhhhh!!!!!
